Mutualité Libérale

Mutualité Libérale provides for a fixed reimbursement of 50 euros every 3 years for the purchase of glasses, or ophthalmic lenses and/or of contact lenses (flexible or rigid)

Mutualité Libérale also provides for a single fixed compensation amount of 100€ for the purchase of a pair of Ortho-K lenses (night lenses)

Terms

  • No reimbursement for the purchase of a pair of sun glasses or coloured contact lenses.
  • Mutualité Libérale will never reimburse more than the fraction that you paid.
  • In the past three years, you have not filed any reimbursement request for the purchase of glasses frames, glasses lenses, contact lenses, a laser treatment.

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • Return the ophthalmologist’s prescription together with evidence of the purchase of the equipment to your insurance.

Mutualité Chrétienne

Mutualité Chrétienne provides for a fixed reimbursement amount of 50 euros every 2 years for the purchase of glasses, ophthalmic glasses and/or contact lenses.

Conditions

  • The number of reimbursements is set to 6.

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • Return the ophthalmologist’s prescription together with evidence of the purchase of the equipment to your insurance.

Mutualité Neutre de la Santé

Mutualité Neutre provides for a fixed reimbursement of 100 euros every 4 years for the purchase of glasses, ophthalmic glasses and/or contact lenses.

Terms

  • There is no reimbursement of a mandatory insurance reimbursement (INAMI reimbursement) is possible.

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • Return the ophthalmologist’s prescription together with evidence of the purchase of the equipment to your insurance.

Mutualité Omnimut (Professionnel et Libre)

Mutualité Omnimut provides for a fixed reimbursement of 50 euros every 2 years for the purchase of glasses, of ophthalmic glasses et/or contact lenses for individuals under 18 years’ old.

Mutualité Omnimut provides for a fixed reimbursement amount of 25 euros every 2 years for the purchase of glasses, of ophthalmic glasses and/or contact lenses for individuals over 18 years’ old.

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • Return the proof of purchase to your insurance.

Mutualité Socialiste – Solidaris

Mutualité Socialiste provides for a fixed reimbursement amount of 25 euros every 2 years for the purchase of glasses, of ophthalmic glasses et/or contact lenses for individuals under 18 years’ old.

Mutualité Socialiste does not provide for any fixed reimbursement for individuals over 18 years.

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • Return the ophthalmologist’s prescription together with the purchase invoice for the equipment to your insurance.

Mutualité Partena

Mutualité Partena provides for a fixed reimbursement amount of 75 euros every 2 years for the purchase of glasses, of ophthalmic glasses et/or contact lenses for individuals under 12 years’ old.

Mutualité Partena provides for a fixed reimbursement amount of 50 euros every 3 years for the purchase of glasses, of ophthalmic glasses and/or of contact lenses for individuals over 12 years’ old.

Conditions

  • The beneficiary of the reimbursement should be up to date in his/her contributions.
  • Reimbursements are granted every 2 years for children between 0 and 12 inclusive
  • Reimbursements are granted every 3 years for those over 12.
  • Reimbursement limited to the price actually paid

What to do to be granted reimbursement?

  • The model insurance form or purchase invoice for the equipment. The medical prescription is not necessary if the invoice or any other piece of evidence allows to determine that they are ophthalmic glasses or ophthalmic lenses (dioptric mentioned)
